Do You want to fell yourself and your friends in safe while drawing your line off the piste?  

This is a camp for prevention and for learning the process of rescuing.

Apart from learning a lot You can enjoy several pistes in the Southern French Alps.

 

Program:

Day 1: 

- Recognition of basic phenomena (snow types, layers of snow, stability determinants)

- Snowprofiling (analysis of the deeper layers of snow)

- Skiing from Col du Bal

Day 2: 

- Signal and micro search (basis of operation of the avalanche transceiver)

- Recognition and rating of surface signals (signs of the avalanche danger)

- Skiing at Montgènevre

Day 3: 

- Modellizing the procedure of rescuing (searching for and rescuing our partners)

- Independent snow-profile analysis

- Skiing at Pelvoux

Day 4: 

- Rescuing excercises

- Digging out techniques

- Slope analysis

- Skiing at La Grave

- Visiting the thermal bath in Monetiere (optional)

Day 5: 

- Movement and transportation of the victim

- Optimizing the rescuing process

- Skiing from Col du Bal

Day 6: 

- Complet risk assessment independently

- Rescuing competition

- Traditional French dinner (optional)
